One or two people have left comments on my blog asking that I come back to them.  For some reason, the end of such comments is often lopped off by Blogspot.  So if you want me to reply, I suggest you open your comment with  your email address.  I do try to respond to most comments that as for feedback.  But I don't check them that often, so please be patient :-)

Hello Annie,

My name is Marcelo, I live in Brasil and I’m your fan! I read the “Voyaging on a small income” and I’d enjoyed it a lot. Congratulations for
Your great job! I’m planning to live aboard and I’m building a 25” monohull. After read your book and search for more information, I became to
wonder if I’m building the right boat for my purposes. I have a specific question to you: what’s your opinion about the Wharram’s soft wing sail system?
It seems to be cheap, easy to build and manage. I know your preference to junk rig. In your opinion, what are the most important differences between them?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Best regards.

Marcelo

Marcelo, I'm sorry. My joeblogs@sailing.com was a pretend example of an email address. I didn't think that people who use English as a second language might not understand. Send me your REAL email address and I will write back to you.

I'm afraid I don't know much about James's soft wing system, but I doubt that anything is easier to reef or works better off the wind than junk rig.
